In a perfect world, the answer would be: However long your message is. But today, that’s just not the case.
Our ‘140 character society’ would rather sit through five (1) minute videos than one (5) minute video.
There are a bunch of strategies for different types of videos. Whether it’s an ad or informational video, but the general rule is: Stay around the one minute mark.
