One word: Video

In Searchmetrics’ latest white paper, they cite video in at least 54% of all web searches.  Not surprisingly, YouTube (Google’s favorite toy) is present in nearly 84%.

So the argument for video is solid.  Now what kind of video do you produce?  

84% of all web search is for information.  So give your audience info.  If you’re a carpeting company, tell us how to remove stains.  CPA: give us some tax tips.

As I’ve said before: Give an inch, gain a mile.  But your videos have to be good.  Viewers have a choice between your smartphone video, or your competitor’s well produced one.
