The Oracle of Omaha has three little words for you.


“Delight your customers.”

Don’t just satisfy them, he continues.  

“Any business that has delighted customers has a sales force out there that you don’t have to pay.  You don’t see them, but they are talking to people all the time.”

“Your customers will be out there as salesmen for you, and they will be, if you delight them.”

“Have your customers thinking “I’ve never had a better experience with a human being” and they’ll be back.”

This reminds me of a time before I started Uptrend Productions.  I walked into chicken wings restaurant for a (not nutritious-but delicious) meal.  The cashier said the company owner had been in the store the day before and he told them “No matter what the customer orders, you give them extra.”

That’s what I take from businessmen like Warren Buffett and the owner of that chicken wing restaurant.   

Delight Your Customers.
