16 years ago the music industry changed.

CDs- and CD-Roms- went the way of cassettes and 8-tracks.  Digital killed the tape star.

Historians might someday map out the iPod and Napster, which came out around the same time, to the digital music revolution.

This of course led to Internet radio and Sirius XM.  And now Apple has officially killed the ipod.

Sales have been declining and Apple has been filing their pod reports under “Other Products”.

So give a moment to remember listening to your first iPod.  And then move on to the next big thing.
